About the Tesla experience at Napili Kai

As a guest at Napili Kai Beach Resort, you may now book a new Tesla Model 3 hourly, daily or weekly at your convenience. Each EV comes equipped with up to 360 miles of range and complimentary valet parking.

How to Prepare

  1. Download “Envoy Mobility” App
  2. Register your account
  3. Add community: Napili Kai
  4. Input Access Code: A955Y3A4
  5. Choose Your Booking Window (Hourly or Daily)
  6. Call the Front Desk for Vehicle’s Location
  7. Use the Envoy Mobility App to start ride and as your Tesla Key*
  8. End Your Booking and Notify Front Desk of Vehicle’s Parking Stall

*A physical key card may be picked up at the Front Desk, please be sure to return the key after your reservation is over.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take for my license to be approved?

  • Most states take about five minutes; however, Hawaii licenses may take a few days to return the DMV report
  • Call the license verification team at (888) 610-0506; Option 2 to check your status at any time.

How do I Reserve and Pay?

  • Enjoy paperless reservations and payments, all are taken care of through the Envoy Mobility app.

What if I need to modify or cancel my booking?

  • You can easily do so through the app, or by contacting customer service.
  • If you modify or cancel in advance, you can do so without any fees.
  • If you cancel your booking within 1 hour, 50% of the original booking fee will be charged.

Do I need to wash the car?

  • No, but please keep the inside clean for the guest who uses it next.

How far can I drive?

  • Normal range of the vehicle is approximately 260 miles for Model Y and 330 for Model X, so you’ll easily be able to make it around the island and back.
  • Please remember to check your charge level and plan ahead before you go.

Do I have enough charge to make it to the North Shore and back?

  • Yes, the vehicle will only use about 100 miles (approximately 35%) of the charge to make it directly there and back safely.

Does it work where cell phone service is limited?

  • Yes, the app works using Bluetooth, so even if there is no cell service you’ll have access to the vehicle via your phone. You can also pick up a key to the car by request at the resort’s Front Desk.

What if I can’t make it back in time by the end of my scheduled booking?

  • You can extend your booking through the app, or by calling customer service.
  • Please be considerate of your neighbors, and try to plan your trip in advance, giving yourself plenty of time to explore our beautiful island – it’s easy to get distracted!

What if I get sand or dirt inside the vehicle?

  • Penalties may be charged for excess sand, dirt, or trash left in the vehicle.
  • Please be considerate and keep sand and debris to a minimum.

Do I need to End My Ride when I get back to the hotel?

  • Yes, please press “End My Ride” in the app and call the Front Desk to notify them of parking stall number. If you have a physical key, return to the Front Desk.
